Private by default

Creative briefs and songs are treated as private. We will not publish a song, lyric, name, photo, or story detail without separate and explicit permission.

This preview stores drafts on your device

Unsubmitted drafts are saved in your browser’s local storage so you can continue later. When you submit a brief, your contact details and creative instructions are stored with our backend provider, Convex, for studio review and order handling. Clearing browser data removes local drafts, not an already-submitted brief.

Private order access and payments

Your private order link grants access to order updates and delivered files. Keep it confidential and contact the studio if it needs to be replaced. If payment is requested, card or bank details are handled by Stripe or Razorpay on their hosted payment pages; SongCustoms stores transaction references and status, not full card details. Complete retention periods and customer-rights procedures must be finalized before commercial launch.

Gift links and optional experience measurement

Recipient gift links are separate from private buyer order links. Anyone with a working gift link can open the gift after its reveal time; ask the studio to revoke it if needed. Never post a private buyer link publicly.

When experience measurement is enabled, we collect first-party counts of sample plays, brief activity and gift-preview visits, plus loading and responsiveness measurements. We do not send story text, names, emails, full URLs or persistent visitor identifiers with these events. Measurement respects your browser’s Do Not Track setting. Rate limiting uses a keyed IP hash, and infrastructure providers may keep their own security logs. Aggregate reports cover approximately 31 days.
