Getting started

What should I put in my brief?

Start with who the song is for, the occasion and the feeling you want. Add two or three specific memories, names with pronunciation hints, and anything you want us to leave out.

You don’t need to write lyrics. If you’re unsure about genre or voice, choose “Guide me”. Avoid sharing passwords, financial details or private information that the song doesn’t need.

Are the samples finished customer songs?

The original mood sketches are short instrumental demos. Their story and hook text show a creative idea, not lyrics being sung in the demo. They are not customer recordings or proof of a finished vocal performance.

Listen for the mood and arrangement. Save favourites to your shortlist, then choose “Create with this feeling” to carry a sample into your brief. Your shortlist stays in this browser, not across devices.

Will submitting a brief charge me?

No. A submitted brief goes to the studio for review. It is not a paid booking and does not guarantee production or a delivery date.

The package, total price, currency, any extras, delivery date, revisions and applicable terms must be confirmed before payment. A payment is only made when you complete an available payment request.

Orders & access

Where can I see my order’s stage?

Your private order page shows the current stage, the next step, studio updates and any confirmed delivery information. It also holds your brief, lyrics, payments and files.

Stages reflect updates from the studio, not a live production timer. Use Refresh on the order page for the latest information, and send a message there if you need a date clarified.

Do I have to create an account?

No. Your private order link lets you follow that order and talk to the studio without signing in. Keep it somewhere safe and don’t share it with the recipient.

An account is an optional way to keep orders and support tickets together. Sign in with the email used for your order and verify it with the code sent to that address. The sign-in page shows whether email access is currently available.

Lyrics & changes

How do I review lyrics and request changes?

When the studio shares a draft, open Lyrics on your order page. Check names, relationships, memories, language and pronunciation before approving it.

For a revision, mention the exact line and what should change. Keep related changes in one clear message. A new story, language or musical direction can change the scope, so ask the studio to confirm any added cost or timing first.

What if something doesn’t feel right?

Tell the studio what you hear and what you expected. For example, “the second verse sounds too upbeat” is more useful than “make it better”. Include a timestamp for an audio issue.

Revision allowances depend on the confirmed package. Request corrections through the order page so the brief, approvals and feedback stay together. Don’t assume an unconfirmed delivery date or unlimited revisions.

Payments & delivery

Where will payments, extras and refunds appear?

The Payments section of your order page shows payment requests and recorded status. Extras are part of your brief and must be agreed with the studio; selecting one is not a purchase.

Pay through the Stripe or Razorpay hosted checkout opened from your order. The options shown depend on the provider, currency and availability. Review the total and currency before confirming. Cancellation and refund terms must be agreed before paying.

How do I download and share the finished song?

Delivered items appear under Files on your order page. Download each included file and keep a backup. The available formats and extras depend on your confirmed package.

For a surprise, use a recipient gift link when the studio provides one, not your private buyer link. Check the reveal time and test playback before the occasion. A gift link can be opened by anyone who has it.

A sample or delivered file won’t play. What should I try?

Check your device volume and audio output, then tap Play once. If you use Bluetooth headphones, make sure the sound isn’t going to a different device. Try refreshing the page or another browser.

For a delivered file, download it and try your device’s music player. If it still fails, send the file name, device, browser and any error through your order page. Please don’t post a private download link publicly.

How are my payment details protected?

Card and payment credentials are entered on the payment provider’s hosted page, not in a SongCustoms message or brief. SongCustoms stores payment references and status, not your full card number.

Use a payment request from your private order page. Check the amount, currency and provider before paying. The studio will never need your card PIN, password or bank verification code in a support message. No online payment can be described as completely risk-free.

My bank shows a charge, but the order still says unpaid.

Payment confirmation can take time to reach the order page. Refresh the order and check the provider’s receipt before trying again; a return to the site alone is not proof that payment succeeded.

If the status still differs, message the studio with the payment reference, amount and date. Do not send full card details. The studio can check the provider record before asking you to retry.

Privacy & support

How do I ask about my data or report an exposed link?

Use a message on your private order page, or a support ticket from an account you can already access. Say which record or link you mean and what you need changed. We may need to verify that the order belongs to you.

If a buyer or gift link was shared with the wrong person, ask the studio to revoke or replace it. Clearing a browser draft does not delete a submitted order. Read the Privacy page for the current storage and access details.

How do I get a useful reply from the studio?

For an existing order, open it and send a message in the Messages section. Account holders can also open a support ticket from My songs & support. Your order page remains the place to check replies, whether or not an email update arrives.

Include the relevant lyric, file name or payment reference, what happened and what you need help with. Don’t include passwords, sign-in codes or full card numbers. No response-time guarantee is currently published.

Email & sign-in

What emails should I expect?

Email is used for account verification codes and updates sent by the studio about an order. Use an address you can access, and check your private order page for the latest progress, messages and files.

Not every status change or support reply triggers an automatic email. Keep your private link even if you receive an email update. Only reply by email when a working reply address is provided; otherwise use your order page or account support.

I haven’t received a sign-in code or studio email.

Check that the address is correct, then look in spam, junk and any filtered folders. Give the message a little time to arrive. For sign-in, use the newest code and follow the resend instructions shown on the page.

Never share a verification code with the studio or anyone else. If email is temporarily unavailable, use your saved private order link. Email availability is shown on the sign-in page and in this Help Center.

FAQs

Is every SongCustoms song original?

Yes. Your lyrics and arrangement are built around your brief. We do not insert names into a stock song or reuse another customer’s lyrics.

Do I need to write lyrics or know music terms?

Not at all. A few memories and the feeling you want are enough. Choose ‘Guide me’ if you’re unsure about the sound.

Do you use AI?

Yes. We use AI music tools, then work through the lyrics, pronunciation, vocals and final sound. We check your story and its details before delivery. We never clone a real artist’s voice.

How long does a custom song take?

Available delivery windows will appear before checkout once payments launch. Standard and rush timing will depend on current studio capacity, and your confirmed date will always be shown before payment.

Can I choose the genre, language, and voice?

Yes. Choose from the available genres, languages, and original voice profiles, or let us guide the sound from the mood you describe.

Can you make it sound exactly like a famous singer?

No. We can work with broad qualities such as cinematic, acoustic, soulful, or upbeat, but we do not imitate or clone a real person’s voice.

What can I revise?

Focused revisions can cover lyric details, pronunciation, or small production adjustments. A completely new story, language, genre, or creative direction may require a new version.

Is my story private?

Yes. Your brief and song stay private by default. We will never publish them without separate, explicit permission from you.

NEED A HAND WITH YOUR ORDER?

Keep the conversation
with the song.

Open your order and send the studio a message. Include the lyric, file name or payment reference you’re asking about so we can find the right detail.

Never send a password, sign-in code, full card number or private order link in a public message.

Open my guest order My account & support

Your order page keeps the conversation together, even if an email update hasn’t arrived. If you’ve lost your link, check your saved confirmation, any studio email you received or an account you can access. Order numbers alone cannot unlock private orders.
